My main life interest is art and especially photography although I recently completed my very first painting using inks and acrylics …it was exciting and very satisfying!  Self-taught from my early teens I have furthered my education of photography via courses, along the way, in order to keep up with the latest techniques and creative ideas.  Since retiring in 2016 there has been so much more time to hone my skills and take advantage of every chance to seek out new areas to shoot.

In 2018 I made the move from Ajax to Belleville and it was the best thing that ever happened to me!  I immediately became a member of the Belleville Art Association and joined the public library … things have blossomed ever since.  I spend many hours volunteering at the BAA’s gallery where members’ works are displayed each month.  With my Nikon D90 SLR camera and Nikkor lenses constantly by my side, I look for unusual, colourful, and breath-taking images in nature that truly capture the imagination. Natural colour and clean lines describe my art perfectly.
