Artist
Nancy paints in acrylic, oils, pastels, and mixed media using an impressionist style for her florals and landscapes.
During the last two years, she has been studying abstract painting with a group of BAA members. In January 2017 Nancy had a solo exhibition at the Parrott Gallery. She won an award for the most innovative use of colour, at an annual BAA juried show.
Nancy was challenged, during isolation, to paint 20 paintings on one theme. She chose rocks in which she combined her abstract and impressionistic skills.
As well as painting, Nancy takes an active role in the art groups she belongs to. She was instrumental in forming the successful Stirling Fine Arts Festival. Nancy is an active member of the Belleville Art Association and has been on the executive for several years. She is also a keen member of the Stirling Group of Eleven.
