Artist
Sandra has had a lifetime love of art and began taking classes with local and visiting artists and through Loyalist College in Belleville upon moving there in 1973.
Oil painting was the primary focus initially and she is now exploring other media with acrylic, watercolour and pastel. Inspiration comes from scenery, changing light effects and fascinating people.
She is a member of the Belleville Art Association and is now an executive member and participates in monthly exhibits, online exhibits and with the “Open Studio” group of artists locally.
Her work is presently on exhibit at the B.A.A. Gallery and its satellite exhibits and are also in private collections in Canada and Germany.
