Susan Clark was born in Montreal and moved to Ontario in her early twenties, initially residing in the Brantford/Paris area and later moved to Mississauga while raising a family. An avid artist, Susan, has actively exhibited her graphic design and painting work across Ontario for 35 years.
Susan has always had a passion for the creative arts; she previously worked as a graphic artist for Gould Outdoor Advertising/Pattison Outdoor and at Deserres Art Store in Oakville, while developing her own style in her personal work.
Her works depict contemporary landscapes and presented in clear crisp surreal quality using personal images, overlaying blends of colours in a structural hard edge linear composition.
In 2022 she relocated her home and 24th floor studio space from the heart of Mississauga, Ontario to a ground floor studio in the beautiful countryside of Madoc, Ontario.
In 2023 she joined the Belleville Art Association to meet artists and discover exhibiting venues in the Eastern area of the province. The BAA Members Gallery gives monthly opportunities to exhibit and various local sponsors support at their locations.
As a member of the OSA (Ontario Society of Artists) since 2003, and since relocating to Madoc ON she has now joined the Eastern Hub Members of the OSA. In 2024 she has exhibited in eastern galleries with members at The Parrott Gallery in Belleville and the Agnus Jamieson Gallery at Minden Hills Cultural Centre.
